Why this journal exists

Threads disappear. Decks lie. A journal is a place to keep the longer thinking — research, field notes, and the arguments I want to still recognise in two years.

I write in public on X as 0xluckywiz. That is a good medium for a pulse. It is a bad medium for a thesis.

This site is the longer room.

I am Lucky Ajekevwoda. I sign the work lucky kevwoda — a shorter name, easier to carry, still mine. I am building MoyoPay, organising Logos Circle, and spending most of my attention on a single problem dressed in different clothes: how to stand up institutions that work for people here.

Two shelves

Research is for the pieces I am willing to argue. Working notes on money rails, community as infrastructure, growth systems that do not insult the ground they stand on.

Thoughts is for the rest: field notes, doubts, things I learned this month and might revise next month.

I will publish when I have something with a spine, not when an algorithm is hungry. If you want a subscription, use the RSS feed. This is a journal, not a newsletter with a growth hack attached.

If you are building in public too — especially from a city that does not usually get the headline — write to me on X. I read.

Trust before traction

You build trust before you need it. Growth that starts by extracting attention has to spend twice later — once to acquire, and again to be believed.

The scene is not an institution

A growing tech and crypto scene is not the same as a path. The question is whether the people building will offer direction, or only a stage.
